Senior Commercial/Corporate Lawyers for the Melbourne Office – Mining and Resources

Chambers & Company is offering a unique opportunity for talented and motivated lawyers who wish to be based in our Melbourne office and work internationally on major projects. The position will be attractive to senior lawyers who have valuable experience (post admission experience) in mining law and resources projects in response to Chinese demand. We also require lawyers in banking and finance, infrastructure projects, renewables and agribusiness to join our team.

Chambers & Company is a niche law firm specialising in mining and resources projects in Australia and internationally. We have a long history of advising Chinese clients on their Australian projects.

We have a leading niche advising on Chinese Government and private companies on their resources projects. The Chinese are still very active investors and our network at high levels in China need us to expand our team. Our projects are not confined to Australia, but extend to Africa and Latin America.

We are project lawyers. Our roles in the projects begin with a corporate advisory role as to planning and strategies, then negotiating and the extensive project documentation.
The successful candidate would be working very closely with our very close knit team of project lawyers from the initial stages through to the completion of the projects.
